The one size fits all approach to employment and the benefits system is not working for young women, particularly those from minoritised communities. In this presentation, Ashley Austin from the Young Women’s Trust will summarise the findings from their recent peer research project with over 1,000 young women, exploring their experiences of unemployment and the benefits system and what needs to change.
