Innovation Practitioner
Kathryn joined The Young Foundation at the beginning of 2023, after working at Spacehive to design and deliver community-led crowdfunding programmes with Local Authorities across the UK. She enjoys applying creative approaches to community engagement and developing ways to build meaningful social connections within communities.
Kathryn was a Year Here Social Innovation Fellow in 2018-19, with a focus on health and wellbeing. She later went on to be a Programme Producer for the next two cohorts of social entrepreneurs.
She loves the theatre and trained in improvisation with The Free Association in London and iO in Chicago. Following time volunteering with community builders to deliver cultural exchange in Argentina, she continues to take any opportunity to practice her Spanish.
