Shahaveer Hussain
Neighbourhood Housing Officer, London Borough of Camden
Shahaveer (Shubo) worked for The Young Foundation, 2018 to 2019, as community engagement officer on the Tower Hamlets Communities Driving Change project. He went on to co-found The Utilize Project (TUP), a not-for-profit organisation that works with developers ’utilize’ their empty properties, and is now Neighbourhood Housing Officer in Camden.
Sharon Squires
Director, Sharon Squires Consultancy
With an extensive track record working with political leaders, Sharon is the director of her own consultancy. She is also chair of multi-agency assurance panels for the Modern Slavery unit at the Home Office, a trustee a Involve, a senior fellow at The Young Foundation, and lectures on place-based leadership at the Universities of Birmingham, Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam.

Siân is passionate about delivering insights that enable organisations to increase their impact. She specialises in a range of methodological approaches, underpinned by research-focused BA and MSc degrees. Her role at The Young Foundation involves overseeing research and design projects for national and local clients.

Stephen was brought up in the East End of London, and has held a variety of senior positions within housing departments in London Local Authorities. He established the largest not-for-profit regeneration company in London, and was community lead in the successful Olympic bid team.

After 25 years working in the utilities business, Steve went on to develop and deliver learning programmes in the public and private sectors, and is now a self-employed VCS Consultant in Sunderland, providing critical support at board and operational levels in the BME Community.
