Paul Barker
Writer, broadcaster and editor, 1935-2019
Paul was a writer, broadcaster and the former editor of the social affairs magazine New Society. He was awarded a research fellowship by the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 for his work on suburbia which laid the foundation
Paul Oberg
Director of Finance and Corporate Resources
Paul joined The Young Foundation in 2021, having held a similar role with The Land Trust. Paul has 15 years’ experience in the charity and not-for-profit sector, having begun his career in the corporate world. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and brings experience across HR, and IT, as well as finance.

Paul Sng is a filmmaker and writer of dual British and Singaporean heritage whose work focuses on people who challenge the status quo. In 2015 he founded Velvet Joy Productions to explore the lives and work of individuals who have been neglected, marginalised or misrepresented in the arts and media.

Managing peer research projects, he has supported diverse groups of people to co-design, conduct, analyse and present timely and ethical research to achieve real-world policy impact.
